Wife, Mom and Grandma Dolores Faye Hutson went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Alyce Dewey and sister to Darlene E. Dewey Davis who all three preceeded her in death. Dolores was born February 18, 1938 in Great Falls, Montana. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Gary D Hutson, daughter Kathy Hutson and son Greg Hutson (wife Donna) and grandchildren Emily and Ethan Hutson. Dolores was a fourth-generation Montanan and her great-grandfather homesteaded in Hardy, Montana in Sheep Creek. She attended Great Falls High School and graduated in 1956. Dolores taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. In the spring of 1958, she met the love of her life and they married on September 4, 1959. She worked in a greenhouse/flower shop and also as a bookkeeper. She and her husband ran a fly fishing shop for a few years. Summers were spent camping at Holland Lake and Jefferson Creek in Montana. She enjoyed traveling and spending time on the Oregon Coast as well as trips to Glacier National Park and Going to the Sun Highway. When her children were school age, her house was the hangout for the neighborhood kids for whom she often baked cookies. For twenty years she spent a week every summer at Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana. In 2005, Dolores and her husband moved to Arizona to be closer to their children. She spent many hours supporting Relay for Life Cancer Walk and her Bosom Buddies (Arizona). Dolores loved family, gardening, talking with friends, telling stories and enjoying her favorite foods on special occassions and holidays like lobster, Salt Water Taffy, Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, Peeps and Huckleberry Jam. She loved to collect Boyds Bears, angels and owls. Dolores was greatly loved and will be missed for her gentle spirit, kindness and love for laughter. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Camp Mak-A-Dream in Montana.
