Diego Antonio Garcia, Jr.

Diego was born June 13, 1937, in Redwing Colorado to Diego and Lucinda Garcia. He was one of 10 children.

Diego was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.

Diego (Tony) married Cecilia Anabel Sanchez in 1958. They have 2 children; son Diego (Paula) of Avondale, AZ and daughter Victoria (David) Thompson of Anthem, AZ; one granddaughter Nicole and one great-grandson Noah Benbow of Glendale AZ. Cecilia preceded him in death 2005.

Diego is also survived by brothers Walter (Isabel), Fermin; and one sister Mary Madrid; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

Diego Retired from Eastman Kodak in 1992. Tony found joy in the simple pleasures of life; he enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, riding Razers and Quads with his son and cheering a good Bronco game.

A memorial service is being held 10:00 am Monday September 23, 2024, at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City Arizona.
