Dale Eugene Rabe passed away on December 26, 2021 in Glendale, Arizona at 95 years old. He was born on February 24, 1926 in Monroe, Wisconsin to Milton and Beulah Rabe. He grew up in Monroe, Wisconsin; graduated from Monroe High School where he played football and basketball. After high school, he served in the Navy during World War II on the aircraft carrier USS Bennington, until the end of the war. He then married Bette Carol Grant, they had four children. He worked as a refrigeration service technician. He moved his family to Phoenix in 1966. He retired in 1988 and enjoyed a long retirement of 33 years. He loved to play golf whenever he could. His wife Bette predeceased him in 2007. He is survived by his sisters: Evelyn Skurich, Geraldine Miller, Coralyn Rauscher and his brother Virgil Rabe, his children: Kathryn, Terry, Mark and Karen; grandchildren: Christine, Peter, Tony, Tim, Tina, David, Derrick; and many great grandchildren.
Dale was a member of VFW Post 1433, The American Legion Post 62 and UA Local 469 for many years.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
