Donna Jean Gagnon passed away December 5th, 2013 in Puyallup, Washington at the age of 82, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 26, 1931 in Portland, Oregon. She was born to Arba (Blacky) and Karen Mae (Mickey) Green. Her devotion to family, her beautiful smile, encouraging words and soft hands will be missed. She viewed life as full of possibilities, no matter the circumstances. She saw the good in all people and each person who was added to her family tree was welcomed. Blood never mattered to her. She would look at her big, beautiful family, chuckle, smile and say, “Look what I started.” She was preceded in death by her loving husband John, son Craig, grandson Kenny, and her parents. She is survived by her children; Judy O’Malley (Jim), Mike Floeter (Cindy), Mary Ruiz, Mark Gagnon (Denise), and Caroline Kreutzer. She also leaves behind 25 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a real estate sales agent and broker for 30 years, and taught real estate classes at Clatsop Community College in Astoria, Oregon. She was also an associate pastor at Loving Faith Ministries. Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Services will be held at Powers Funeral Home in Sumner at 15124 Main St. A gathering of family and friends will follow, at granddaughter Jeannita Milton’s home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local Humane Society. She loved animals of all kinds but especially her dog, Jacky.
