Susie Lee Little, 93, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to her late parents, Ophie and Cleonie Simon on November 30, 1928 in Prairie View, Texas. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, woodworking, and loved to tend to her yard. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, whom she loved very much.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cathy Woods (Tommy Woods), Dianna Vincent (Bubba Vincent, Jr.); brother, Jessie Simon (Shirley Simon); six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild on the way.
Susie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lenny "Red" Little; parents; two brothers; along with two sisters.
Services will be held at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 12:00 pm, with Father Luke Krzanowski officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday, beginning at 9:30 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss, Louisiana.
