Stephanie Gayle (Shook) White, 39, of Westlake, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. She was born on February 6, 1985 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Stephanie was a proud graduate of Sulphur High School and LSU. She enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, playing the piano, board games, and dancing with her daughter. Stephanie was a super fan of the tv show, "Friends." Christmas was Stephanie's favorite time of the year. She loved people and was truly the life of the party. She was the most vibrant, fun, funny, and sweet person you would ever want to meet.
She is survived by her daughter, Harper Gayle White, Harper's dad, Chase White of Westlake; father, Stephen Shook (Terri) of Iowa, Louisiana; mother, Donna Boriack (Mike) of Tomball, Texas; brother, Taylor Shook (Erin) of Sulphur and step sister, Brittany Mitchell (Scott) of Iowa, Louisiana; niece and nephew, Quinn and Leo Shook of Sulphur; nieces, Landry and Evelyn Mitchell of Iowa, Louisiana; aunt and uncle, Karen and David Haynes of Sulphur; uncle and aunt, Gary and Vicki Shook of Meeker, Colorado; aunt, Julie Moon of Lake Charles; cousins, Cody Wright, Morgan Coppels, Ryan Shook, and Garrett Shook; along with her dog, Miley.
Stephanie is preceded in death by her son, Miles Manning White; along with her grandparents, Jack and Rita Shook, and Lonnie and Sarah "TeddyLove" LeJune.
A Celebration of Stephanie's life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 3:00 pm, with Pastor Thiago Silva officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 1:30 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Lee Granger Cemetery in Vinton, Louisiana.
