Mary Lou Little

Mary Lou was a devout Catholic. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry where she was a member of the Third Order Dominican Final Professed, The Legion of Mary, was a lector, C.C.D teacher and coordinator for 15 years. Mary Lou started a guitar choir and was the director of music for the youth group. She was also a Diocese of Lake Charles West Deanery council member for two years. Mary Lou enjoyed gardening, singing hymns, and spending time with her friends and family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Bryan Little and wife Marlene of Hackberry; her sister, Twiley Ann Broussard; two grandchildren, Cory Moyles and Kayla Lovell; three great-grandchildren, Isabella and Madeleine Moyles, and Nolan Lovell.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 56 years, Clifford J. Little; and her brother, Carroll Guidry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry. Rev. Arvind Minz, H.G.N. will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 11 a.m. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonsulphurmemorial.com
