Laurie Daigle Leger, 88, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 in her home.
A native of Acadia Parish, Laurie had lived in Sulphur since 1953. She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt who will be remembered for her love and generosity to others, and her deep Christian Faith.
She is survived by her daughter Norma Smith (Tommy) of Lake Charles; son Daryl Leger of Sulphur; grandchildren Vince Smith, Shannon LeDoux, Rachelle August and Lori Guidry; great grandsons Noah and Gabriel.
Laurie was preceded in death by her husband Levy Leger; daughter Janelle Smith; 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Her funeral will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, September 2, 2010 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Mel Estess will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 1:00 until 9:00 pm on Wednesday.
