She was a native of Sulphur, Louisiana and worked as a retail manager for Rack Room. Jennifer is a Sulphur High graduate and was an avid reader and enjoyed art and her animals. Jennifer was a woman of intense passion, whether it be for her loved ones, her kitties, her lifelong search for her own identity, or just for life in itself.
While complex, Jennifer's ultimate goal in life was simple: to love and to be loved.
Her life was not comprised of trophies or superficial accolades of accomplishment, but of unwavering and far reaching bands of warmth, compassion and love that she gave freely, without a thought, to whomever needed it. With her passing, the world of those closest to her has become noticeably colder without the warmth of her being and the sounds of her laughter.
She is survived by her father, James Breaux of Sulphur, mother, Patricia Burgess Victory of Sulphur, brothers James Breaux, Jr. of South Carolina, Justin Breaux of Lake Charles, half brother, Aaron Breaux of Jennings, and numerous loving family members.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 12, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Clayton Fontenot will officiate. Cremation will be entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and will resume Friday at 9 a.m. until service. In lieu of flowers family ask that donations be made toward funeral expenses.
