Jamie Guidry, 78, died at 11:27 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in a local hospital.
Jamie lived in Carlyss most of her life and attended St Theresa Catholic Church. She was known as "Me Maw". She never met a stranger.
Survivors include her daughter Sammie Faye Losito of Phoenix, AZ; sons Dale Naquin and his wife, Patricia, of Carlyss' and Roger Naquin of Carlyss; brothers Dudley Little, Doyle Little and Wayne Little; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband C. J. Louis Guidry and grandson James Naquin.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16, in Hixson-Sulphur Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 Friday with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, all at the funeral home.
