He was a lifetime resident of Sulphur who worked for over 33 years as a Sulphur Fire Fighter. Bob's passion was to play music, and he has played in many bands over the years. He wrote and recorded his own music. Bob was a loving son, husband, father, and friend who will be truly missed.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Amelia "Amy" Landry of Sulphur; a son, James Tyler Landry of Lake Charles; mother, Barbara Ellen Landry of Sulphur; and a brother, James Bryan Landry and wife, Shirley of Sulphur, La.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Burns Landry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur. Reverend Andrews Kollannoor will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Sulphur. Visitation will be held 3-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary held at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
