Gerald was a Sulphur native and attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his family. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Survivors include his daughters Adrian Miller Price of Baton Rouge, and Mary Kay Vice, of Sulphur; son Karel Bryant Miller and his wife Shannon Donovan Miller, of Sulphur; sister Mildred Vincent, of Carlyss; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Richardson Miller; father Paul H. Miller; mother Regina Stelley LeBlanc; and brother Harry "Pete" Miller.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. The Rev. Edward Richard will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday, with a rosary at 7 p.m., and from 8-11 a.m. Monday, all in the funeral home.
