Daniel lived most of his life in Sulphur, and retired from Shell Oil as a Lease Operator over 34 years. Daniel was a deacon at Bayou Vista Baptist Church in Bayou Vista, La. and Maplewood First Baptist Church in Sulphur. He was also the Royal Ambassador Director and worked with the College Career Sunday School class at Maplewood First Baptist Church.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Keller and Audrey Witherwax Keller.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Janice Babin Keller; daughter, Sarun Keller Wamsley and husband, Trip; daughter, Gina Keller Shirley and husband, Hank; three grandchildren, Hannah Grace Shirley, Alexander Edward Wamsley, and Kathleen Elaine Shirley; brother, Richard Keller and wife, Pat; sister, DeLane Cryar and husband, Tommy; brother, Hugh Keller and wife, Mary; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randall Babin and Rev. Jeremy Blocker will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss.
