She was a native of Lake Charles and had been a resident of Orange, Texas for the last 18 years, coming from Sulphur. Barbara loved to dance, sew, bake, and spend time watching her grandchildren grow. She loved all of her friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Kenneth Myers of Orange, Texas; son, Jeffery LeDoux and wife, Naomi of Westlake; daughters, Tanya Drozda and husband, Enoch, and Shelley Davis and husband, Derek, all of DeQuincy; two brothers, Robert LeJeune and Russell LeJeune, both of Lake Charles; three sisters, Delores LeBlue and Patricia Pharris, both of DeQuincy, and Peggy Bourne of Jefferson, Texas; and six grandchildren, Austin LeDoux, Kourtney Drozda, Brody Drozda, Dalton Davis, Dawson Davis, and Dayne Davis. She is preceded in death by a spouse, Arvil LeDoux; her parents, Edd and Sybil LeJeune; and her half-sister, Lois Istre.
Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur. The Rev. Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery South in Carlyss under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visition is from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday with a scripture service at 6 p.m., followed by a rosary service. Visitation will resume from 9 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
