Ronald D. Chapman, Sr.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 09, 1949. Ronald was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1974. Ronald was a proud graduate of University of Houston and retired as a Mechanical Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.

Ronald’s hobbies included photography, traveling the world, and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Bette Chapman.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Sylvia Chapman of Sugar Land, TX; son: Ronald Chapman Jr. and wife Judith of Missouri City, TX; daughter: Christina Reynolds of Missouri City, TX; sisters: Rhonda Chapman of Seguin, TX, Jana Hanlon and husband Dale of New Braunfels TX; grandchildren: Emma Reynolds, Hailey Reynolds, Ethan Chapman, Allison Chapman.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Settegast – Kopf Company @ Sugar Creek Sugar Land, TX and a prayer service will be recited at 6 p.m. that same evening at the funeral home. On July 2, 2021 at 11:15 a.m., he will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
