Happy Heavenly Birthday to you, Mrs. Mary Ann. It's so hard to believe that your loving presence is no longer with us here on this earth, but I still have the loving memories of the days that you left behind for us all. You were such a beautiful person inside and out. You bought so much joy to everyone that you were around. I will never forget you and I'll hold your beautiful smile in my mind and heart always. Although it's been two years since the loss of our Beloved Mary Ann Semien, I can still feel her loving spirit in my heart and mind. Doing times like today, I feel that she's smiling down on us all and that gives me the strength and joy to persevere through everything that I am going through because I can remember that she was a fighter in her spirit and soul. I will not say that you lost your mom, for when things are lost you can’t find them. Look into the heavens my sister and you’ll find her looking down upon you with her amazing smile.

Wonderful does not begin to describe Mrs. Simien.  We are so thankful to have known her and have been welcomed by her into her family.  She shared her love of family and friends with us and we are forever grateful.  Her memory will always bring back the love and joy she shared so freely with all who came to know her.

Aunt Maryann will always be in our hearts.  I remember her telling me when our grandmother passed away she could hear her say “I’m going away to be with my Lord”.  Now  Aunt Mary Ann is with the Lord and all our loved ones.  She is so loved and will be missed by all of us. I love you family and I’m praying for you.
