Janice Cole Harris, passed away peacefully in Houston on Feb 5, 2014, at the age of 80. She was born to Milton and Anice Martin Witherspoon in Texon, TX. She graduated from SMU with a BA in English with teaching certificate for English, History, and French. Janice was a teacher and then became a real estate agent. She was also the first woman Kiwanis member in the Greater Randolf Area, San Antonio. Janice was active in the Delta Gamma Fraternity, Trinity Church, and Guy Chipman Co. She loved the Lord, her grandchildren, her dog ‘Agape’, and gardening. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Masaki (Ken); and grandchildren, Allison, and Peter. A special thank you to Vitas Hospice and the amazing staff of Seven Acres Jewish Sr Services and many more for the love and care Janice received. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Christ United Methodist Church, Sugar Land, TX. Janice will be interred in Resthaven Memorial Park, Midland, TX with her parents.
