He lived his rambunctious young life in Edinburg, Texas with his siblings Horacio, Jose Luis, Julia, Pedro, Jose, Trini along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He enjoyed listening to music, had a love for classic cars, working with his hands and learning new things. He met his wife Elodia at 19 at the local drive in and fell in love. They were married for 62 years. He is survived by his wife Elodia and his four daughters Amy, Sandra, Cristine and Kimberly. He was a man of God. He always took his family to church every Sunday and led by example on how to live life as a servant of God. He was always a hard worker and provider for his family. Agustin had an enormous heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He had a special nickname for everyone. He was generous and always willing to help anyone in need. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge that he gained through all his life and work experiences including mechanics and construction. He lastly retired as a GE technician of 25 years where he obtained numerous Hall of Fame awards by the company. There was nothing that he could not fix or build. His favorite phrase was "don’t give up" and "if he can do it, why can’t I and I will do it better"! He had so much love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed going for his daily 2 hour car rides listening to Johnny Cash and stopping for his favorite Whataburger with his wife and daughter. He enjoyed seeing his grandkids play baseball and enjoyed playing basketball with his grandson. He also enjoyed taking his grandkids to the car shows and to see the monster trucks. Our beloved dad will be missed greatly by all who loved him and knew him.
