Saturnina Aurora Liz Estevez of New York City passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, she was 101 years old. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic on June 27, 1911 to Ramon & Saturnina Liz. Saturnina had 13 children of which she is survived by most along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Walter B. Cooke Funeral Home, 352 East 87th Street, New York, NY 10128 on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Church, 268 Wadsworth Avenue, New York, NY on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 10:00am. A private interment will take place at a later date in Dominican Republic.
