James K Matich

Bentley, his wife, by his side. James was born to the late John N. and Gloria (Exley) Matich on April 11,

1953 at Fort Bliss in EL Paso, TX.

Jim worked as an electrician with IBEW Local 363 for 50 years. He was very involved in the union and

enjoyed his career and the many lifelong friends he made there.

Jim and Lynn loved going to their favorite place, Chincoteague and Asseteague Islands, VA to go

surfcasting. Jim loved to go hunting with all his best friends, especially TT, he also enjoyed all the NJ

Devils games they went to. Jim will be missed by his beloved cats Garnet and Agate.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Lynn, by his sister Renee Matich and her husband Stephen Grado, and

by his nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his baby brother John M. Matich.

A memorial visitation will be celebrated from 1-4PM on Saturday, December 23, 2023 with a funeral

service during the visitation beginning at 2PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59,

Suffern, NY.

The family has requested remembrances be made in the form of contributions to The American Cancer
