Gail M. Moran Carter

Gail M. (Moran) Carter – Born on 10/05/1934 and passed away on 10/08/2015 at the Joe Raso Hospice House in New City, NY. Gail was born in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Brewster Academy In Brewster, NY in 1952. Gail was predeceased by her husband James Carter of Kingston, NY and retired from Met Life in Kingston, NY.

Gail is survived by her children Michele Corcoran of Kingston, NY, Marcy Carter of Asheville, NC, James and Gloria Carter of Pensacola, FL, Susie Carter Burr of Sloatsburg, NY, Matthew and Emily Carter of Topsham, ME, grandchildren Brendan Corcoran of Kingston, NY, Abby and Gary Russell of Saugerties, NY, Shawn, Melissa, Ryan and Hunter Carter of Pensacola, FL, Michael Burr of Sloatsburg, NY, Raymond and Lauren Burr of Sloatsburg, NY and Ella and Annie Carter of Topsham, ME, great-grandchildren Olivia Lauren Burr, Khloe Russell, Haleigh Carter, James Carter, Jayden Carter and Caleb Carter, sister Joan Diamond of Port Ewen, Linda Semilof and her husband Duke Semilof of Sarasota, FL, her brother Robert Moran and his wife Helene Moran of Saugerties, NY as well as several nieces and nephews and her godson/nephew Patrick Reis of Brooklyn, NY. Gail is pre-deceased by her beloved granddaughter Chelsea Carter Campbell, sister Lillian Hubbell of Cooperstown, NY and her brother Edward Moran of Shokan, NY. A very special thanks to the Joe Raso Hospice House in New City, New York for their compassion, care and professionalism while caring for our mother and Rockland Mobile Care for the exceptional care and service they provided.

Memorial Gathering will be held at Wanamaker and Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 1pm – 4pm with the Memorial Service taking place at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Joe Raso Hospice House in New City, NY in honor of our mother.
