Diana Penha 73, of Pomona, NY passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022. Diana was born on March 9, 1948 to the late Raymond and Anne Babinetz Protasiewicz in Brooklyn, NY. Diana married her beloved husband Edward Penha on October 17, 1970. They were married for 47 years before Edward's passing in April 2018. Diana’s passions were her dogs and agility competitions. Diana was talented enough to be part of the Westminster Dog Agility Competition several times.
Diana is survived by her loving daughter Jennifer Kassel and her husband Neil Kassel. She is also survived by her adored granddaughters, Alexandra and Samantha Kassel, brother Mark Protasiewicz (Ann), sister Denise Huelsman (Tim), nephews Justin, Derek, Raymond, and Brett Protasiewicz, and her cherished dogs, Taylor and Jordan.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 4-8PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home. A service will begin at 7PM during the visitation also at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home.
