Antoinette "Ann" Amalfitano

Antoinette “Ann” Amalfitano of Suffern, NY passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at the age of 94. Ann was born to Anthony and Francesca (Tedesco) Cavaliere on March 17, 1928in Rotunda, Potenza, Italy. She became a seamstress for Bergdorf’s out of high school and went on to own and operate Ann’s Creations in Suffern, NY. She was a devote member of Sacred Heart Church and belonged to the Sacred Heart Ladies Guild and Opus Dei.

Ann is survived by her loving children Barbara Moretto (Anthony Moretto) and Gerard Amalfitano (Peggy Sassani), by cherished grandchildren Vanessa and Anthony Moretto (Danielle) and Gerard (Kasie), Michael, and Steven Amalfitano, by adored great grandchildren Gianna, Olivia, and Charlotte Moretto, and Kaylie, Kamryn, and James Amalfitano, and also by her caring sister Josephine Morgese. Ann was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Amalfitano in 2020.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 3-8PM at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30AM on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church Suffern, NY with entombment to follow, Ascension Cemetery, Airmont, NY.
