David W. Hays

He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Charlotte V. (Blanchet) Hays. Devoted father of Deborah A. Hays and her husband, Uli Speth of Mount Vernon, MY, and the late Christopher D. Hays. Adoring grandfather of Anna L. Speth of Mount Vernon, NY. Brother of William and Susanne (Whitcomb) Hays, of Lexington, MA and Stephen C. Hays of Springfield, MA. Brother-in-law of Carolyn O’Brien and William J. Blanchet of Farmington, ME, and Margaret M. Blanchet of Nashua, NHY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hays graduated from Waltham High school Class of 1953, Lafayette College, Class of 1957, and Boston University School of Law, Class of 1961. He owned and operated a private law firm in Sudbury for many years. Words cannot express how much he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services for Mr. Hays will be held from the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd, Sudbury on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Rd, Sudbury at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sudbury.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 14 from 4-8 p.m. at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute.
