Robert Prickett

Bob was born in Lakewood, OH to Robert Allen Prickett and Mary Katherine (Spisak) Prickett on June 27th, 1950. Bob served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war as a Security Policeman from 1968 to 1972, before returning home and starting a career with Columbia Gas that lasted over 20 years. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed spending time with his family as well as camping, boating and fishing. His favorite fishing spots were Florida and the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Eva Prickett; as well as his sons, Michael Prickett and wife Mellisa of Stuarts Draft, Matthew Prickett of New Jersey, and David Prickett and wife Virginia of Weyers Cave. In addition, Bob is survived by his dear grandchildren, Devon Prickett, Charlotte Prickett, and Landon Jarvis; as well as his sister, Karen Prickett of Avon Lake, OH.

A funeral mass will be conducted on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Lexington, VA with Father Joseph Maxwell Appiagyei officiating. A luncheon will follow the mass.
