He was born on October 30, 1926 in Chicago, IL to Sicilian Immigrants. He was a loving Big Brother to Anna.
After graduating from Schurz High School he joined the Army. He was a proud veteran having served his country during WWII.
He went on to marry Rose in 1953, his sweetheart and dancing partner for life. Together they raised two children, John and Barbara in Elmwood Park, IL.
As the Patriarch of his family, “Gramps” was known to all for his never ending stack of pancakes, his love for fishing, the desire to teach everything he knew to anyone who wanted to learn, and even those that didn’t. He prided himself in his woodworking skills and traveled the world in search of “composing the perfect shot.”
Guy left his mark everywhere he went. He was a beloved uncle and friend to so many.
“Gramps” will be greatly missed by his grandchildren; Bryan, Kristy, Michael, Anna, Jaclyn, Ronnie, Jessica, Frankie, and Rachael, as well as, his great grandchildren; Jacob, Nicholas, Archimedes, Abigail, and baby Ava.
The family is being served by the Stuarts Draft chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
