She was born May 18, 1952, in Marshfield, MA, the daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy (King) Lydon. She spent most her childhood traveling all over the country as an Air Force Brat. She obtained an Associates Degree in Human Resources Prior to moving to Jupiter 21 years ago, she lived in Mansfield, MA.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a receptionist for the PGA Resort and Spa. She also donated her time to the Honda Classic as a caretaker for the children of the player's families.
Joan is survived by her husband, William Raspa of Jupiter; a son, William Raspa of Jupiter; two brothers, Daniel Lydon of Carver MA. and Brian Lydon of Washington State; several nieces and nephews and predeceased by her brother Jay Lydon Plymouth MA.
Visitation is Saturday, June 15th from 1-2pm in the Aycock Funeral Home - Young and Prill Chapel, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL, with service following at 2pm. Reception following at the funeral home.
