Carmen Calvo

Born in Manhattan, New York, Mrs. Calvo had lived in Port St Lucie for six years coming from Franklin Square, New York.

Before retiring, she worked as a keypunch operator for Total Data in New York.

She was of Catholic faith and attended Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Cordero of Port St. Lucie, FL; sons, John M. Calvo of Franklin Square, NY, Christopher Calvo of Port St. Lucie, FL; brothers, Joseph Cordero of Monroe, NY, David Cordero of Las Vegas, NV, Raul Cordero of Port St. Lucie, FL; and, 3 grandchildren, Emily, Michael and Tyler.

She is predeceased by her husband of 51 years, John Calvo, Jr.

Friends and family may call on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 at Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Interment to follow at Fernhill Memorial Gardens in Stuart, FL.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
