Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mrs. Dutcher grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan before moving to Fort Lauderdale, FL in the 1940’s and to Stuart, FL in 1969.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Stuart, as well as a member of their Altar Guild amongst many other charitable pursuits. Mrs. Dutcher also helped found The Junior League of Fort Lauderdale, she was a Croquet Champion at Sand Hill Cove, and was involved in writing “The History of Martin County”.
She is survived by her son, Stephen M. Dutcher of Stuart, FL; son, William Frederick Taylor of Jensen Beach, FL; son, James McKinney Taylor of Stuart, FL; grandchildren, James McKinney Taylor, Jr., Kimberly Ann Sanford, Amy Taylor-Branden, Dutcher Teague Taylor and Jeremy Coe Taylor; great grandchildren, Jackson Branden, Rudy Sanford, Reese Sanford; brother, James Carlos McKinney II and sister, Ethel Carlotta Hansen.
Mrs. Dutcher was predeceased by her son, Henry Ritter Taylor Jr.; her husbands, Henry Ritter Taylor and Lloyd E. Dutcher, and one sister, Natalie Bain McKinney.
Services for Mrs. Dutcher are private but memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, in lieu of flowers, 623 SE Ocean Blvd, Stuart, FL 34994.
There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends to celebrate the life of Ann at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on Friday, March 13th from 5-7pm in their courtyard area.
