Born in Richfield Springs, New York, she had previously lived in Little Falls, New York, before relocating to the Hobe Sound area 33 years ago.
She was a homemaker and a member of Hobe Sound Community Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Brown was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Elks Club, both in Little Falls, NY. She was a Martinette in Martin County and was a member of the Hospital Guild in Little Falls, New York as well.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Johan Greene of Hobe Sound, FL; son, Walter J. Brown and his wife, Sandra of Chelsea, MI; four grandchildren, Linda, Walter J. III, Katherine Ann, and Pamela Ann; and six great grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan, Shawn, Joseph, Madison, and Chase.
She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Sr. and her son, Robert J.
Services will be held at a later date in New York.
