Rose Marie Davies

Rose is survived and lovingly remembered by her four daughters: Marjorie, Joan (David) Brown, Laura Kupsch, Brenda Davidson; three sons: Hugh (Jo-Anne), Gordon (Susan), and Glen (Tory); numerous grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; her brother Donald Rotherham, brother-in-law Harold Johnston, as well as nieces, nephews and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Russell; sister-in-law’s: Mary Rotherham and June Johnston; and son-in-law, Martin Kupsch.

Rose loved life and had a great sense of humor; she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; enjoyed reading, and doing handicrafts.

In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Northern Alberta Branch), Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the charity of donor’s choice.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Elizabeth Thompson and the staff of the Westview Continuing Care Centre for the great and compassionate care they provided to Rose.

A Service will be held in Roses’s memory on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11 am at Parkland Funeral Services in Stony Plain, Alberta. Inurnment to follow at Smithfield Cemetery, Alberta.
