1949 - 2023

With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Pam Spears on May 8, 2023 at Westview Health Centre, Stony Plain, AB after a courageous battle against cancer.

Pam left behind her loving husband of 52 years, Don. She was a dear mother to Jeanette, Jason (Sarah), and Michelle (Steve); grandmother to Brandon, Jamie, Carmen, Carley, Taylor, Kaylen, Vincent, Phoenix, and Serenity; great-grandmother to Rayson and Jazlynn. She is also survived by her siblings: David (Bea), Alan (Bernadine), Sydney (Jacki), Nancy, and Sue (Brian) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pam was predeceased by her parents Herbert and Isobel; her granddaughter Kristen and by her brother-in-law Ron.

Pam touched many lives from coast to coast and her memory lives on.

As per Pam’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 13 at the Heritage Centre Onoway, 4708 Lac St Anne Trail from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. Please honor Pam’s request of “No black dress”. We ask everyone to wear bright, happy colors only.

Please, no flowers by family request. If friends desire, Memorial Donations may be made in Pam’s honor to the Cancer Society of Canada, Edmonton Humane Society or your local animal shelter or to a Charity of one’s Choice.
