Warlito Curutan Remigio

Stockton, CA - Mr. Warlito "Lito" Remigio Curutan, aged 79, peacefully passed away at his home in Stockton, California on January 18, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 20, 1944, in Jones, Isabela, Philippines, to Atanacio and Dionisia Remigio, Lito leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication.

Warlito is survived by his devoted wife, Leonida, and their children Leyne, Wilma, and Julius of Stockton, CA, as well as Bello (deceased), Jomel, and Ferdinand in Isabela, Philippines. He is preceded in death by his parents, Atanacio and Dionisia Remigio.

Warlito's journey began in Isabela, Philippines, where he completed his elementary education at Napaliong Elementary School. In 1964, he married his school sweetheart, Leonida, embarking on a lifelong journey of love and companionship.

A dedicated and hardworking man, Warlito started his career as a farmer. Throughout the years, Lito and Leonida joyously welcomed six children into their home. Warlito, driven by his passion for farming and livestock trading, imparted his knowledge and skills to his children. He also managed his own buy & sell business, leaving an indelible mark on the local trade community.

His children fondly remember Warlito as a kind, generous, and motivated father who instilled in them the values of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of pursuing their dreams. His legacy lives on through the lessons he taught and the love he shared with his family.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Warlito "Lito" Remigio Curutan will be held on February 2, 2024, at De Young Shoreline Chapel, located at 7676 Shoreline Dr, Stockton, CA 95219, from 12 pm to 7 pm. Family and friends are invited to join in remembering and honoring a life well-lived.
