Steven Paul Stein, HMFIC, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer Thursday, May 14th in his Stockton home of 25 years. Born and raised in Stockton, California, Steve was a practicing attorney for 35 years, avid USC football fan, lover of all good food, jokester extraordinaire, and number one fan of his wife Judy and his two daughters, Stephanie and Shaina. Steven was an extraordinary husband, father, and friend. He will be honored and remembered by his friends and family at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 19th at Temple Israel in Stockton (5105 N. Eldorado St. Stockton, CA 95207). The support of all of his family and friends has been greatly appreciated and is a true testament to his character.
He is survived by his wife Judy, daughters Stephanie Horning (Ben) and Shaina Stein (Paul), mother Hilda Stein, brother David Stein, cousins Ted Stein and Susan Grant.
In lieu of flowers, the Stein family requests a donation be made in Steve's name to a charity of your choice.
