Michel Khoury passed away peacefully in Stockton. Born February 18, 1930 in Ramallah, Palestine to George and Salwa Khoury. He married Nadia Nahhas in 1956. A proud graduate of the AUB, Medical School in Lebanon, he practiced medicine as an internist in Saudi Arabia. In 1971 he immigrated with his family to the U.S. where he pursued a different career in medicine as a radiologist. He opened his Radiology practice on Hunter Street in 1977 providing the Stockton community with its first Ultrasound unit. Michel was an avid bridge player, a challenging Backgammon player, and he enjoyed the Gentleman's game of golf. He volunteered his services with the Su Salud health fair for several years. He believed in Stockton and its people and was proud to be part of the community. He was preceded in death by his brothers Gabriel and David. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nadia and his three sons, George, Ramzi and Sami, as well as his daughters-in-law Kari and Bobbie. He is also survived by his four sisters, Clemence, Yvonne, Sumaya and Aida, and seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Robert,
Lindsay, Ryan, Micho, and Luke. Donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or Mercy Corps. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 10:00 to 2:00 at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California Street. A reception/luncheon will be held from 2:00 to 6:00, Venetian Gardens Community Center, 1555 Mosaic Way, Stockton, CA.
