Marie was born in Lodi, California.Loving mother of Rosemarie (Peggy) Ramirez Peters. Dear mother-in-law of Peter Ramirez Sr. Dear sister of John Feliso (Martha). Preceded in death by her parents Jose N. Feliso & Lena Borba Feliso and sister Lena Rodriguez (Manuel) and Joseph Feliso (Betty). Grandmother of Denise Aceves (Joaquin) and Peter Ramirez Jr. (Kimberley). Great grandmother of Brittney Rivera (Tony), Justin Aceves (Adriana), Natalie Aceves, Brian Ramirez and Nicole Ramirez. Great-great grandmother of Jazzilyn Aceves, Aria Rivera and Yadi Garibay. Marie was a member of the SPRSI, PFSA (UPEC), Kamali No Hawaii, IDES, and the CPSC where she was Queen.Marie loved to travel. Her trips included Germany, Africa, Holy Lands, Greece, Portugal, Italy and cruises to Hawaii, Alaska and Mexico. She enjoyed gardening, water and snow skiing, bowling and was proud of her hole in one at Swenson.
Marie retired from Diamond Walnut and her favorite time in life was when she lived and worked in Pacific Grove. She received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award and was a dedicated Brown Bag Volunteer and helped in organizing the neighborhood watch.Maries family would like to extend a warm thank you to Sheryl Mohl for her assistance in the care of “Ma.”
A visitation will be held at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N California St. Stockton, California, Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 1:00 until 7:00 pm and Sunday, 1:00 until 4:00 pm followed by a Recitation of the Rosary to begin at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at the Church of the Presentation, 1515 W. Benjamin Holt, Stockton, California on Monday, January 26, beginning at 10:00 am. Committal services will be held at the San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
