Lois Marie Krause

Lois was born on March 26, 1927, in Texas to Katie and Howard Harvey Wells. Lois was the oldest of 6 girls and the second oldest of 12 children. The Wells family moved from Texas to Arizona and then to Stockton, CA in 1942. Lois attended Stockton High School. She began working at the Stockton Box Factory in 1945 where she worked until she retired in 1988. She was a resident of Rio Las Palmas Retirement Community until August 2011 when she moved to Golden Living Center, Hy-Pana, Skilled Nursing Facility.

Lois was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, Eugene Krause, who passed in 1996, and six siblings. She is survived by her brothers Howard Wells, Sr., of Stockton, and Jack and AD Wells of Fresno, her sisters Geneva Wells Mell of Fresno, and Betty Wells Yount of Rockdale, TX. She was also loved and will be missed by numerous nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012, at Community Bible Church, 609 East Galin Road, French Camp, CA.
