Passed at home in Stockton, CA, December 8, 2020, Linda A. (Schwemley) Epler beloved mother to sons Trenton Epler and wife Ngan of San Jose, CA, and Matthew Epler and wife Chananna of Modesto, CA and stepdaughter Kelly Fisher. Loving grandmother to Matthew, Viviana, Ethan and Emmett. Loving sister to Marilyn Kermit and brothers, Michael Schwemley, Kevin Schwemley and David Schwemley. Loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Epler taught in the Stockton Unified School District for over 30 years, retired in 2017 but continued to work as a substitute teacher and testing specialist. She found great pleasure in interacting with her students especially those in the lower primary grades. She enjoyed adventures with friends, her timeshare in Cabo San Lucas, and spending time with her family, grandchildren and her fur babies, Abby, Nala and Dakota.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio but spent most of her years in Stockton, California. She passed at the age of 60 surrounded by family after a valiant struggle with breast cancer. Her shining smile, generous heart, and loving spirit will be greatly missed by all.
The family suggests donations in her memory can be made to the Pink Patch Project (pinkpatchproject. com) or another breast cancer charity.
Chapel Service will be held at De Young Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton at 11a.m. on Tuesday, December 22. COVID-19 protocol will apply. Private Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
