Dante Angelo Bacci, age 79 of Lathrop passed away at home on August 1, 2012 after a 2 ½ year battle with lung cancer. He was born on April 5, 1933 to Dante J. Bacci and Louise M. Bacci (Armanino) in Stockon. Dante was a Deputy Sheriff in San Joaquin County for 31 years. He was a member of the Retired Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Dante Club, Stanislaus Italian Swiss Club, liguriens, CSEA, Good Time Accordian Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles and was also a member of S.T.A.R.S. Dante is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife Josephine Bacci; daughter Angela Martin (Jim); grandson Mario Bacci (Morgan); brother Ruben Bacci (Joanne) and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 6 from 4-8 PM in the chapel of Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dante’s name to the charity of your choice.
