Cipriano “Cipi” Jauregui Martinez, 92, of Stockton, CA, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on June 23, 2021. He was able to spend his last Father’s Day at a BBQ surrounded by his loving family.
He was born to parents Refugio and Filibertha Martinez on August 5, 1928, in El Soyaltal, Apulco, Zacatecas, Mexico. Cipriano had visited California on several occasions and on one of those visits he met the love of his life, Dolores (Ramos). They were married in 1953 and had four children.
Cipriano had many jobs and retired after a long career as a butcher for Safeway. After retiring, he spent his time on home projects, gardening and watching baseball. Cipriano was seldom seen without his beloved “A’s” baseball cap or jacket. He was also a kind and generous man whom often supported his family and friends in their time of need.
Cipriano is predeceased by his parents, his loving wife Dolores, his brother Refugio, his sister Felicitas and granddaughter Jessica. He is survived by daughter Isabel and husband Mike; son Filbert and wife Denise; son Ralph and wife Kathy; son Daniel and eight grandchildren; Christina, Mikey, Angelica, Monica, Natalie, Andrew, Kayla and Robert. He also had several half-brothers and sisters who adored him. Cipriano left behind his loving dog and Companion Chico.
