Laura was born on May 5, 1945. She was a graduate of Union County College in their Gerontology Program. She was a personal stylist and consultant. Laura was also an active member of Griswold Senior Center.
Laura met and married Frederick Godfrey McKoy and they remained together loving and caring for each other for over 54 years, until his passing on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Laura's life will forever honored and cherished by her children, Troy McKoy (Kellie) and Tisha McKoy; grandchildren, Jennah McKoy, Cameron McKoy and Miles McKoy; siblings, Betty Ann Hibbett, Albert Brown, Jr., Arthur Jeffrey "AJ" Brown, Aaron Brown, Andrew "Drew" Brown, Adrian Brown and Beverly Norris; a host of other relatives and family friends.
A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
