Jerry "Jay" Murray Jr.

Jay was born September 2, 1966 in Trinidad BWI. Jay was a kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor. He was quiet and shy at times, but when he spoke, it was meaningful. Jay loved riding his trail bike and was an avid fan of Georgia football and NASCAR racing. Jay was a retired Master Plumber who took great pride in his work.

Jay is survived by his wife Lisa M. Murray, his mother Pat Dunn, his father Jerry Murray, Sr., his sons, Alex Murray, Cody Murray, daughters, Hillary Murray, Kelly Murray, Kaylor Murray, step daughter, Reyann Miller and three grandchildren. Jay also leaves behind his three sisters, Penny Lynn Garland, Robin Marie Johnson and Holly Darlene Murray. Jay’s extended family also includes numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 10 am. until 1 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281 where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m.

Burial will be held in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
