Mr. Campbell always had a story that made me laugh. He and my father enjoyed each other when they were both at my home, talking and laughing.  He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest by hunting, fishing, and baking the best cakes ever. His lemon pound cake and pineapple upside down cake were my favorites. He had quite a cookbook. He will be missed by myself and many others. 

Floyd was an amazing and funny man. You could never leave his house without him putting a smile on your face. 
Someone once told me that you may forget the words said but you will never forget how someone made you feel.  Floyd always made everyone feel welcomed. He was an amazing man.

I'm deeply saddened by the death of your father.  It's my prayer that God wrap you in His arms and comfort you and provide you with Peace during this most difficult time.  Know that we love you and are here for you. Please reach out if there's anything we can do. Love and miss you. 

Floyd will be forever in my memories as one of the most funny and  good hearted people that I have ever met. He was very generous and has impacted my life in such a positive way. He was like a grandpa to me and he will be remembered forever.

Darla: "Mr. Campbell, how are you?"
Mr. Campbell: "Oh, I'm doing okay, I guess."
Darla: "What have you been doing these days?"
Mr. Campbell: "Oh, well, not a whole lot. I did make a hummingbird cake the other day."
Darla: "Oh that's nice!"
Mr. Campbell: "Took me all day to catch that hummingbird!"

I will never forget this sweet, sweet man! He still makes me smile.

my sweet father in law and my friend. I've so enjoyed the years I've had with floyd hunting and fishing. He always loved to work me in to the ground planting the land for deer but always had time left to scare me senseless and laugh. The world has lost a powerful humble kind soul but thats what makes heaven sound sweeter all the time.

Prayers for the family  of Floyd. He was my mama's cousin Louvale Moore. He was the sweetest person.  Always laughing and sharing a joke with mama. I have many good memories  of him. Fly high sweet Floyd. You will be missed 

Mr Floyd has always been a father figure to me,he would call me his other daughter. We shared many happy memories together baking cakes, walking in the garden and just talking together.
He touched so many lives with His wisdom of age and his love. I will truly miss him. 

One of my favorite people.  He found the one to pick on in the family and that was me. This man would show up on your doorsteps with a smile and when he left, you would have a smile for days on end. No kinder man than he.  You knew his family came first and his love for them was very deep.  Floyd Campbell I would like to thank you for your service to our country. Your kindness to me and mine. Your friendship. Debbie and Terry, you had the best Dad possible and I believe you will see him again. Fly high Floyd, then go and enjoy the garden our maker has waiting on you !!! Floyd will remembered by me as a southern gentleman and a man that loved his family.Now he is happier and well,reunited with Aunt Pearlie.My prayers are with you Debbie and Terry,you will see you dad and mom again one day.With love,Sherry

I grew up in Mountain View knowing the campbell family , Floyd was a constant figure in the city's life, he was a good and decent man, I married his niece and never heard an unkind word about him from anyone

I’m so thankful for making this trip to visit with Uncle Floyd. It was definitely a surprise to him to see us that day. I loved him so much and will always cherish the time we had with him. My thoughts and prayers are with Debbie & Terry and their families. He will definitely be missed. 

I am the youngest of seven children (5 boys and 2 girls).  Floyd was the oldest of the clan.  He was a great brother and he could always make you laugh.  He loved his family and he will be missed.
