Dennis Gibson

Mr. Gibson was survived by his children, Joseph Bryant (Maki) Wood and Christy Michelle (Spencer) Pickett; grandsons, Ashton Wood, Noah Wood, and David Spencer Pickett, Jr; brothers and sisters, Debbie McClain, Horace (Gayla) Gibson, Danny (Lisa) Gibson, and Lisa (David) Parker; friend, Pat Sponable; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis proudly worked for Georgia Power for 42 years and was a member of the Moose Lodge in McDonough, Georgia. He was also involved at the Golf Club at the Moose Lodge. Dennis loved sports, and was a very competitive man when it came to them. He played softball, was in a dart league, and played golf competitively. He was a fan of Alabama football and the Atlanta Falcons. He also loved going to antique car shows.

Dennis will be very missed, and will always be remembered as the loving father, grandfather, and brother that he was.

A visitation for Dennis will be held Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281. A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Horis A. Ward – Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281. A committal service will occur Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281.
