Bonnie Fay Howard, Ph.D.

Loving mother of Dana Nelson (husband Nicholas), Richard Howard (wife Sandy), Camille Dionne (husband Craig), J. Gregory Howard and Jody Maurer (husband William). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Kenneth, Jesse, Nicholas, Diana, Laura, David, Elena, Evan, Daniel and Corey, her great-grandchildren: Kylie, Elijah, Hayden, and Jemma, loving family and many friends.

Affectionately known by many as "Dr. Bonnie", she was a determined woman ahead of her time.

She believed that she could do whatever she set her mind to. Her accomplishments included being a loving wife and mother, business owner, college professor, and UGA cheerleader. Her appreciation for the importance of family, both immediate and extended, led her to document family history and organize multiple family reunions.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, November 20th from 5-8 p.m. and Thursday, 12 noon until 1 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, GA 30281, where funeral service will be held on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m.

Burial will immediately following in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
