Dolores Garza, age 91 passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Dolores was born on October 7, 1932 in Manor, Texas to her parents Maximino and Paula Gonzales. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Felix Garza, daughter Yvonne Garza and son Mark Garza. Beloved mother of Yolanda (Beto) Barrera, Felix Jr. (Diane) Garza, Daniel (Maria) Garza, Larry (the late, Susan) Garza, Dorita (Jose) Cano and Susy (Martin) Hernandez. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of many. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dolores loved visiting her family in Texas. She enjoyed watching her Western movies and her game shows.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation for Dolores that will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Chapel Service officiated by Fr. Alex Ojacor at 1:00 pm at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Avenue, Stickney, IL 60402. An interment at Mount Auburn Memorial Park, Stickney, IL (708) 749-0022.
