Penny Ann Greene

She was born March 16, 1959, in Newport, Tennessee, and was a daughter of the late Eulas Greene and Mayme McGaha Greene. Penny was a construction superintendant for G.L. Wilson Building Company and loved horses and her dog, Shamrock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Moore and two brothers, William and Donnie Greene.

Survivors include three brothers, Ronald Greene of Newport, Tenn., John G. Greene of Ruffin, S.C. and R.C. Greene of Cosby, Tenn. Also surviving are eight sisters: Helen Couzins of Matthews, N.C., Betty Watkins of New Market, Tenn., Brenda Vines of Nanjemoy, Md., Cheryl Valentine of Newport, Tenn., Paulette LeFloer of Newport, Tenn., Darlene Houser of Rockvale, Tenn, Linda Conard of Cosby, Tenn. and Bridgett Henry of Newport, Tenn.

Services celebrating Penny's life will be conducted at 11:00 Monday at Westmoreland Chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home with Jeff Kerley officiating. Burial will follow in Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
