Marilyn loved the Lord and her family. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Statesville. She retired from Exxon Corporation after working 30 years. She then took up teaching line dancing for another 30 years.
In addition to her parents Marilyn was preceded in death by her brothers, John Andrew “Jack” Kramer, and Wilbur Roy Kramer.
She is survived by her son, Roy Coker (Mary) of Gloucester, Virginia; daughters, Karen Coker, and Dianna Dovenmuehle, both of Statesville; grandchildren, Justin Dovenmuehle (Audrey), Alexander Dovenmuehle (Ashley), Kelly Stevenson, Pamela Coker, Jessica Frye, and Sean Frye (Ashley); and great grandchildren: Sydney Dovenmuehle, Maeve Dovenmuehle, Heather Coker, Vivian Frye, Silas Frye, Katelyn Romero, Jordan Romero, and Tristan Hutton.
Services for Ms. Kramer will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. A visitation and reception will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Loyd Ginn officiating. Burial will be private.
