Linda June Moose

Born on January 9, 1937 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late David Aaron Elliott and June Sherrill Elliott.

She was a loving wife of 53 years to James Colan Moose, who preceded her in death in 2010. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Elliott Hollifield.

Linda worked for several years as a Ward Secretary at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First A.R.P. Church in Statesville until recent years. She will always be remembered for her great cooking and for being a loving mother and grandmother.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lynn (Billy) Harr; a son, James Daniel Moose, a sister, Martha (David) Driskill; grandchildren, Tim (Kim) Harr, Jaime (David) Curtis and Amanda Moose, and great-grandchildren, James, Alan, and Ava.

A funeral service honoring Linda’s life was held in the chapel of Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Interment was held at Iredell Memorial Gardens.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County for their kindness and loving care.
