Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marie Nawothing Wise; and his brother, William Wise.
He is survived by his children, Dennis F. Wise (Maura), and Christine M. Freudenberg (John); his grandchildren, Liam, Kieran, and Sean; and his sister, Kathleen Mitchell.
Dennis was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Statesville. To say he “enjoyed” playing golf is an understatement.
Visitation for Mr. Wise will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at St. Philip’s, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
